Proper potting helps ensures a healthy root system and the ability of your plant to thrive long-term. Utilizing a mix of LECA for drainage and the Fox Farm Ocean Forest Potting Soil, our professional potting service sets your plant up for success from the start!


Plants without a potting fee selected will arrive in a standard nursery pot alongside the selected pot. If you choose to forgo the potting fee, remember to order any soil and drainage you may need.

    Proper potting helps ensure a healthy root system and the ability of your plant to thrive long-term. Utilizing a mix of Aeration Stones for high quality drainage and Happy Frog Ocean Forest Soil mix, our professional potting service sets your plant up for success from the start!

    At Greenery Unlimited, we've tried many soils over the years. We have the luxury of watching how different substrates perform over time, and in our opinion Happy Frog Ocean Forest Potting Soil is the best option for long term plant health.

    Aeration Stones are made from expanded clay aggregate and are a lightweight porous material that we've found interacts well with soil and acts as an excellent root aerator.

    Please note that our pre-planted plant/pot combos do not require a potting fee. We'd be just as happy to delivery the plant in a nursery pot with an empty vessel! If you're looking to tackle the job yourself but need a little soil, our soil and drainage are also available for purchase. 

     

     

    SERVICE AREAS

    Greenery Unlimited delivers to the following locations:

    • Manhattan
    • Brooklyn
    • Queens

    Curbside and White Glove delivery options are available. 

    We are on occasion able to accommodate deliveries outside of our zone for an additional cost. Please email or call us to inquire.

    In case of inclement weather, we will automatically reschedule deliveries for the next day we deem safe for the health of the plant, and will send out a notification email with the updated schedule.

    Someone must be available to receive the delivery. If no one will be there to receive the delivery, you may give us permission to leave the plant outside the delivery address in the checkout notes. However we cannot acquiesce this request during the winter or in severe weather. If no one is there to receive the delivery and we are unable to leave it behind, a re-delivery fee will be incurred. Cancelled orders will incur a 25% restocking fee once they have been prepared for delivery.

  • RETURN/EXCHANCE POLICY

    At Greenery Unlimited, we stand behind the quality of our products and want every purchase to be a positive experience. We hope you love your new plants and accessories, but should you have any issues with your purchase please contact us.

    Non-Plant Item Return Policy

    Returns and exchanges of non-plant items ordered through our online store are accepted within 30 days of customer receipt, with a valid proof of purchase is provided, and the items are returned in good condition (unused, un-scuffed and unwashed). Expendable materials such as potting soils, drainage, plant sprays, fertilizers etc. may be returned in unopened packaging only. Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer.

    Floor Plant Return Policy

    All floor plants (10" nursery pots and above) are final sale only. We only send out plants that are representative of the photography on the site, and are confident you will be satisfied with your purchase. However, if your plant arrives damaged contact us within 24 hours to initiate a replacement or refund. If you are dissatisfied for any other reason such as plant size or shape, you are eligible for a swap of the same item within the 24 hour window.

    Small Plant Return Policy

    All of our small plants (8" nursery pots and below) are covered under our 30 Day Plant Guarantee. If the plant’s health declines beyond repair within 30 days, we will provide a replacement. Please reach out for care assistance at the first sign of plant health decline.  If your order is damaged or fails to meet your expectations, please contact us through this form and we will gladly assist you.  Please include your order number when contacting us.
