If you placed an order for local delivery, your plant will arrive on the date and during the time frame you selected. You can refer to your confirmation email to double check the date and time you selected.
Our deliveries have a quick turnaround, however we will do our best to make adjustments to your scheduled delivery date. Please call us at (646) 543-3797 Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm, or send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
We offer local delivery for all of our desktop and floor plants to the NYC area, including Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Long Island City. The delivery rate ranges from $25-$35 depending on the size and quantity of plants. For outer boroughs, the rate is higher due to the additional transportation costs. If you are in the NYC area, but outside of our delivery zone, feel free to reach out to email@example.com and we can give you a custom quote.
We select plants that are similar in size and shape to the plants pictured on our website. However keep in mind that plants are individual and unique living things, so there will be some variation in shape, size, and color.
Simply sign up to our waitlist on each product page, and we’ll send you an email as soon as the item is back in stock.
Our limited edition plants are specialty items and come in limited supply. As they are final sale only and we move through them quickly, we do not offer them paired with planters. The sizes vary in each batch we receive, so we find it’s best for our customers to select an appropriate pot once they receive the plant.
This plant requires a high quantity of water and so we have found that it thrives in the self watering containers, where it has a continuous supply of water and can drink at its own pace. We highly recommend this planter and plant combination. Since the Natal Mahogany uses a lot of water, a pot with drainage is highly recommended to prevent water build up in the bottom of the pot.
Plants delivered via local delivery are brought from our Greenpoint studio in a truck, and hand delivered to your door.
At this time we have paused nationwide shipping for our small plants. You can read more about our decision to pause nationwide plant delivery here. Our larger floor plants are available for local delivery and pick-up only. We deliver to Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens and the Bronx.
Reach out to us! Please include a photo of your plant, and your order number in an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. We ask that you contact us within 24 hours of receiving your plant.
All plants purchased at our retail location are final sale only. We accept returns and exchanges on unblemished pots and hard goods for 14 days after the date of purchase.
Small Potted Plants
All of our small plants (8" nursery pots and below) are covered under our 30 Day Plant Guarantee. If the plant’s health declines beyond repair within 30 days, we will provide a replacement. Please reach out for care assistance at the first sign of plant health decline. If your order is damaged or fails to meet your expectations, please contact us through this form and we will gladly assist you. Please include your order number when contacting us.
We are available for care and troubleshooting assistance at anytime for products purchased through our website. If you are experiencing issues with plant care, please fill out this form, where you can provide a description of your plant’s symptoms, recent care given, and photos. You can also email us day or night at email@example.com.
All floor plants (10" nursery pots and above) have a 24 hour return window. Delivery fee is non refundable. We only send out plants that are representative of the photography on the site, and are confident you will be satisfied with your purchase. However, if your plant arrives damaged contact us within 24 hours to initiate a replacement or refund. If you are dissatisfied for any other reason such as plant size or shape, you are eligible for a swap of the same item within the 24 hour window.
Cancelled orders will incur a 20% restocking fee only after they have been planted and prepared for delivery. If you’re unsure of which plant is right for your space or have questions about our current selection, feel free to email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we’d be happy to send you some photos of our current selection. We’re here to help, and want you to love your plants!
Non Plant Return Policy
Returns and exchanges of non-plant items ordered through our online store are accepted within 30 days of customer receipt, with a valid proof of purchase is provided, and the items are returned in good condition (unused, unscuffed and unwashed). Expendable materials such as potting soils, drainage, plant sprays, fertilizers etc. may be returned in unopened packaging only.
Someone must be available to receive the delivery. (This can be via a shipping room in a large office building or with a doorman.) If no will be there, you may give us permission to leave the delivery in a specified, safe, and accessible area in the checkout notes. However, we cannot guarantee this request during the winter or in severe weather. If no one is there to receive the delivery and we are unable to leave it behind, a re-delivery fee will be incurred. It’s best to check the moisture level in the soil upon arrival and refer to the care guide for soil moisture requirements. Plants delivered locally have not been watered after transplant because of the added weight. Please water your plants upon receipt and refer to the care guide for soil moisture requirements. If you purchased a plant in the nursery/growers pot, the soil will need to be assessed upon arrival to determine when it is ready for more water.

We do not provide potting services outside of our routine maintenance plans. However we can gladly provide potting tips and suggestions! Send us an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and with some photos and history of your plant.

This can occur after a long period of growth, as your plant will eventually use up all of the nutrients in its soil and become anemic. Consider adding liquid fertilizer to the reservoir system. If you have been fertilizing regularly, sometimes salts can build up in the soil. In this circumstance you should remove the plug from the base of the planter and flush the root system by placing the plant in the shower and thoroughly rinsing the soil. Replace the plug once all of the liquid has drained out of the bottom.

We do not provide exterior plant maintenance at this time. We do however offer garden design and installation.
We do not provide single plant maintenance visits at this time. We find that in order to provide the best possible plant care we need to supply consistent and regular maintenance. Regular visits and a strong knowledge of a plant's history are the foundations for providing holistic plant care. We do however offer plant care assistance over the phone and via email.
